Cardano just moved closer to the part of the crypto market where blockchains stop being something people actively use and start becoming infrastructure that software uses on its own.
The network has been added to the official x402 software kit, giving developers a way to build apps and AI agents that pay for online services with ADA or Cardano-native tokens. The integration is real and available to developers now.
The bigger commercial promise, however, is still early.
That distinction matters. Millions of autonomous agents are not suddenly spending ADA across the internet.
Developers instead have a new rail they can begin testing and integrating.
