
Two Republican lawmakers facing their own unique political pressures are reportedly turning their attention to trying to expel one another from Congress.
The latest development in an ongoing saga involving Reps. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Cory Mills (R-FL) came amid reports that the latter had already drafted a resolution seeking to expel the former.
Mace didn’t take the news lightly, as NBC News reported:
Mills is being investigated by the House Ethics Committee in connection with allegations of “sexual misconduct and/or dating violence” and campaign finance violations. He has denied any wrongdoing.

While some Democrats have called for his expulsion, Mace went further by announcing Monday evening that she had filed a measure that would remove him from office.
