South Carolina is one of several states moving to re-draw fair congressional districts ahead of midterms.
However, the effort just suffered a major setback.
Today, a resolution to extend a legislative session in order to consider redistricting failed in the South Carolina Senate.

If passed, the proposed congressional map would eliminate the state’s only blue district.

Unfortunately, the resolution to allow time for considering the new map failed to reach the two-thirds majority needed.
Five RINO Senators voted against it.
