Bitcoin’s $84,000 Wall Hardens as ETF Inflows Shrink to $31 Million

Bitcoin is still holding near $84,000, but the institutional bid that helped drive September’s rebound is losing force at exactly the wrong moment.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds pulled in just $31.07 million on September 28. That kept an eight-session inflow streak alive, but it was the smallest daily total of the run—and it arrived as Bitcoin pressed into a dense band of long-term holder supply between $84,000 and $85,000.

CryptoSlate’s review of the session found that BlackRock’s IBIT led with $54.84 million of inflows, enough to add roughly 657 Bitcoin and lift its holdings back above 800,000 BTC. Grayscale’s smaller Bitcoin Mini Trust added $10.32 million.

Those gains were largely offset by $10.90 million leaving
