Bitcoin has spent years turning impossible-looking price targets into serious conversations. But the road from roughly $64,000 to $1 million is far more than another big percentage gain.

That is the warning from Markus Thielen, head of research at 10x Research, who says one number makes the popular 2030 prediction much harder to defend.

Cointelegraph reports that Thielen estimates Bitcoin would need roughly $15 trillion in additional capital to support a price of $1 million per coin. At the time of the report, Bitcoin was trading near $63,868 with a market capitalization around $1.28 trillion.
