Bitcoin has found the next obstacle in plain sight: a thick band of coins held by long-term investors between $84,000 and $85,000.

That supply is concentrated at the same prices Bitcoin must reclaim to extend its latest rally. Buyers have to absorb the available coins and hold above the band long enough to turn resistance into support.

Cointelegraph says Bitcoin gave back an earlier advance after reaching the mid-$84,000 range. Long-term-holder cost-basis data put the heaviest overhead cluster around $84,000 to $85,000.
