Bitcoin ran through $85,000 after a crowded wall of bearish leverage turned into fuel.

The largest cryptocurrency briefly traded above $85,000 on Monday, reaching its highest level since January after gaining more than 5% in 24 hours. The move completed a sharp rebound from roughly $75,000 on September 15.
