Wall Street did not tiptoe back into crypto last week. It came through the front door with $2.6 billion.
U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds posted their strongest combined inflow week since October 2025 during the five trading sessions through August 21. Both fund groups also logged their best week of 2026.

The Block reported that Bitcoin funds took in roughly $1.9 billion while Ethereum products attracted $697.2 million. That was a roughly $3 billion swing from the prior week’s combined $392 million outflow.
The speed of that reversal matters. It was not one oversized order masking a weak week.
