Big Victory Announced For Catholic School Students Wrongfully Accused Of Wearing ‘Blackface’


In today’s perpetually offended Western culture, few acts are considered more egregious than a White person wearing so-called “blackface.”

But in many cases, such allegations are based either on a purposeful misinterpretation of a person’s intent or an unintentional misunderstanding. It’s unclear which was at play in a case involving two teens kicked out of a California Catholic school, but a recent update confirmed that they have each been awarded financial compensation as a result of the experience.

The then-students at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View were just 14 when they took a photo during a sleepover in 2017 of them wearing the treatment in solidarity with a friend suffering from severe acne, their lawsuit said.
