When Elon Musk purchased Twitter and began prioritizing free speech before changing the name of the platform to X, many on the left were enraged over the possibility that parody accounts and other forms of so-called misinformation would be able to flourish on the site.
In reality, though, common sense and features like “Community Notes” seem to allow most users to separate fact from fiction — except, that is, for Democrats like Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT).
As Breitbart reported, he recently fumed in response to a post he mistakenly believed was posted by or on behalf of President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump:
