The event will feature 30,000 eggs provided by the American Egg Board, which has long supported the tradition through contributions from farmers nationwide.

Notably, the Trump administration is only using small and medium-sized eggs, which are not sold at markers according to the Egg Board. Responding to concerns over the industry’s recent hardship, the White House reportedly weighed their options including using plastic eggs or including large eggs, and ultimately determined to use real eggs that would not be sold to consumers in stores.
