White House builds up Biden’s make-or-break interview with ABC’s Stephanopoulos


The White House underscored President Joe Biden‘s first post-debate interview as an opportunity to make his case directly to the public as members of the Democratic Party reconsider him as their 2024 nominee.

“The president is preparing for this interview like he does with any other interview,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Friday. “He’s done more than 40 interviews this year already. He did two radio interviews yesterday. You heard give a compelling argument for the case for his administration.”
