Joy Behar worried Thursday that if President Donald Trump were to win reelection, it would mark the end of democracy.

Cohost Whoopi Goldberg began the segment with a note about the fact that both Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden would be holding competing town halls Thursday evening. Biden is set to appear on ABC while Trump is scheduled to appear on NBC.
“It’s so insane out there,” Behar responded, saying that Trump would probably win in the ratings but that might not translate into him winning more votes come Election Day. “The ratings will probably go to the ‘stable genius’ because people prefer to watch a train wreck rather than watch, you know, say a course in civics.”
