Embattled Democrat Eric Garcetti Confirmed
The U.S. Senate Voted to confirm President Biden’s pick for U.S. Ambassador to India — former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. The vote was 52-42 with seven Republicans joining the Democrats to help get him over the line. Garcetti has faced accusations that he is not fit for the role due to his alleged actions, or lack thereof, regarding sexual harassment allegations in his LA office.
