According to a new report from Axios, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz is preparing to run for president in 2028.
While speaking to reporters in the Oval Office this afternoon, President Trump was asked to respond to Cruz’s potential bid to be his successor.
President Trump said that Ted Cruz is a friend of his, but that he has not yet spoken to him about running for president.
Then, in true Trump fashion, he couldn’t help but flaunt his victory over Cruz!
