Maine Gov. Janet Mills faced boos and hecklers while speaking in her hometown of Farmington over the weekend.
“@GovJanetMills got some INTENSE heckling that included shouts of ‘We have daughters!’ and ‘Stand up for them!’ today at the Maine Moose Lottery in her hometown,” state Rep. Laurel Libby, a Republican, said.
“Stop discriminating against Maine women and girls, Governor!” she added.
