Washington’s Joe Kent Will Fight to Offer Veterans Separated Under Vax Mandate Path Back to Military


Washington congressional candidate and Green Beret Army veteran Joe Kent is proposing legislation to enable veterans separated from the military for declining the coronavirus vaccine a path back into the military.

Kent also supports proposals to block President Biden from restricting unvaccinated veterans from accessing VA benefits. Kent’s plan to offer veterans separated for declining the vaccine a path back to the armed services is likely the first of the kind. It’s possible the proposal could pass a Republican Congress in 2023, forcing Democrats to cast a vote to keep decorated veterans out of the armed services over a vaccine.
