Oh, there she is.
Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday traveled to California to urge voters to support Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom in a recall election next week — after she’s remained conspicuously out of the public eye as recent crises enveloped President Biden.
Harris has a public event scheduled with Newsom, who’s been accused of hypocrisy for imposing COVID-19 restrictions before treating himself to a mask-free indoor soiree fueled the recall campaign.
Harris has taken no reporter questions in the nearly two weeks since she returned from a trip to Singapore and Vietnam as Afghanistan fell to the Taliban amid Biden’s frenzied withdrawal of troops.
And that’s not all Harris has been publicly invisible for.
