VIDEO: “Total lack of respect”…Denver Fans Throw Bottles and Injure US Men’s Soccer Player After U.S. Win Over Mexico


After a U.S. men’s soccer player drilled a penalty kick into the net to win a close game against Mexico, the Denver crowd did something that was beyond disrespectful.  It’s hard to believe that U.S. fans would do what they did, but it’s all caught on the video below.

Soccer analyst Alexi Lalas commented on the behavior:

Superstar Christian Pulisic successfully converted a penalty kick in the second half of extra time to lift the United States men’s national team to a 3-2 victory over Mexico in the first CONCACAF Nations League final on Sunday night.

Fox News reports that after Pulisic scored the winning goal, the match was stopped for about three minutes during the second-half stoppage time because of discriminatory fan chants at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. U.S.player Gio
