
Vice President JD Vance is set to release a new book on his religious faith and personal conversion to Catholicism, adding to his profile as both a bestselling author and a Republican political figure.
The book, titled Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith, is scheduled for release on June 16 through HarperCollins Publishers, according to the Associated Press. It will explore Vance’s spiritual journey, including his shift from a Christian upbringing to atheism and ultimately to Catholicism as an adult.
Vance, 41, said the book reflects his loss and rediscovery of faith, writing in a statement that his return to religion “only happened because I had lost it to begin with.” He added that the work grapples with why “the Christian faith of my youth failed to properly take root.”
