US launches airstrikes on Houthi-controlled oil port in Yemen, killing at least 38


U.S. forces launched airstrikes against the Ras Isa oil port in Yemen on Thursday. The location is controlled by Houthi rebels, who have been causing havoc in the region. 

Thursday’s military strike reportedly killed at least 38 people and wounded over 100 others. The attack was confirmed by U.S. military’s Central Command in a press release and explained the strategic decision for the airstrike.
