UPDATE: White House Announces Tariffs On China Are Now 145%


The White House, in its latest press release, clarified that goods from China to the United States are now subject to a 145% tariff.

The 145% tariff consists of Trump’s 125% reciprocal tariff on China and the 20% tariff already in place.

The Trump administration will also impose new tariffs on “low-value packages” from China.

On May 2nd, 120% tariffs will also be applied to goods valued at $800 or less from China.
