Updated reports stated that the horrifying plane crash at a South Korean airport resulted in 179 confirmed deaths.

Only two crew members, who are being treated for injuries, survived the crash.

The Jeju Air flight had 175 passengers and six crew on board.

In the deadliest aviation incident ever in South Korea, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, arriving from Bangkok, skidded off the runway and slammed into a concrete fence.

According to reports, the plane’s front landing gear apparently failed to deploy.
