Ukrainian girl in Israel for life-saving leukemia treatment tragically killed by Iranian air strike


A 7-year-old girl who left war-torn Ukraine to get life-saving leukemia treatment in Israel has been killed by an Iranian air strike, according to “heartbroken and devastated” Israeli officials.

Nastia Borik died when an Iranian missile struck their apartment in Bat Yam last weekend — with her mom, grandmother and two cousins killed alongside her, Israeli officials said.

“We are heartbroken and devastated,” the state of Israel’s X account said in a post.
