UFC CEO Dana White says Tuesday the fighting company will “definitely” have its first White House fight on July 4 next year, as part of a larger-scale celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
President Donald Trump announced the fight on July 3 while attending an event in Des Moines, Iowa, with expectations of up to 25,000 spectators for the live match. White confirmed the match will happen on July 4 and spoke to Trump Monday night regarding the event.
“And I’m flying out there at the end of this month, and I’m going to sit down and walk him through all the plans and the renderings, and we’re going to start deciding what he wants and doesn’t want. But yeah, it’s definitely going to happen,” White
