UFC Star ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone Scratched From Fight With Lauzon; Bout Rescheduled For June


Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was forced to pull out of his hotly anticipated UFC fight with Joe Lauzon Saturday night after a bout with some bad tacos left him with food poisoning, and the fight has been rescheduled for next month in Austin, The Daily Wire has learned.

The two lightweights were set to fight Saturday night in the opener of UFC 274 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix in what would have marked Lauzon’s return to the ring after nearly three years. The top of the card is the UFC lightweight championship between current champ Charles Oliveira and former interim champ Justin Gaethje. The UFC hastily rescheduled Cerrone and Lauzon to do battle in the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on June 18.
