The United Arab Emirates’s foreign affairs minister praised President Trump for his leadership Tuesday when leaders of Middle Eastern countries gathered for a historic peace deal ceremony.
“Thank you, sir, for your leadership. And if it wasn’t for that, it would have been far more difficult for all of us to achieve,” said Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation for the UAE.
Hundreds of diplomats and government officials gathered at the White House on Tuesday afternoon to witness leaders from the UAE, Israel, and Bahrain sign the “Abraham Accords,” which officially normalizes diplomatic relations between the nations.
“Mr. President, we are humbled to represent a nation, which is only 48 years old but full of hope and wants to attract more hope in our region. Our region has suffered far too long, and we would like to show our people and our region and the world that there is some
