One of America’s longstanding enemies is now issuing threats against the United States.
On top of that, a so-called de facto ‘ally’ of the U.S. (though it never was an actual treaty ally) is issuing similar threats, including promises of a nuclear attack.
Both are in response to the ongoing war between Israel and Iran, and the possibility that the United States might take a more active role.

I don’t want to see America enter another war any more than the next guy.
I’m definitively ‘pro-Israel’ by the nature of my particular Biblical worldview; but I still don’t want to see us get involved to the point of direct combat operations, if at all possible.
