Tucker Carlson paid respect to his late father on X, detailing how his father died “with dignity and clarity” following six weeks of illness.
Richard Warner Carlson, 84, died on Monday after a brief illness that was previously not made public. Carlson revealed how his father would speak to him and his other son, Buckley, “every day” and also how he made it a priority to enjoy lunch with them once a week at Washington D.C.’s Metropolitan Club.
“Richard W. Carlson is survived by his sons, Tucker and Buckley, his beloved daughter-in-law Susie, and five grandchildren,” Carlson wrote on X. “He was the toughest human being anyone in his family ever knew, and also the kindest and most loyal. RIP.”
