President Trump’s legal team brought forward allegations at a press conference Thursday of widespread voter fraud that they say could flip the election results, reversing presumptive President-elect Joseph R. Biden’s electoral path to the White House.
In a lengthy press conference in Washington, D.C., the president’s lawyers claimed there are enough ballots disputed in six states that could reverse the election — either through absentee balloting or by a flawed software system.
Specifically, Rudolph W. Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney, detailed the numbers of conflicted mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin either through litigation or recount efforts.
“We more than double the number of votes needed to overturn the election in terms of provable illegal ballots,” Mr. Giuliani said. “This was a disgraceful thing that was done to this country.”
In Michigan, the Trump campaign claims a truck pulled into a counting center in Detroit at 4:30 a.m. with only “Biden” ballots. They estimate about 50,000 of those
