Former White House chief of staff John Kelly allegedly issued a strong rebuke of President Trump’s character.
Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general who served as Trump’s chief of staff from July 2017 to January 2019, told friends that the president “is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life,” according to CNN.
“The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me,” he reportedly added. “The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship, though it’s more pathetic than anything else.”
Kelly’s remarks are set to air in a CNN special on Sunday titled The Insiders: A Warning from Former Trump Officials, in which former senior administration officials explain why they believe the president is unfit for office.
