Trump’s ex-wife Maples says she’s open to being vice president: ‘Whatever way that I can serve’


Former President Donald Trump’s second ex-wife, Marla Maples, is open to taking a more active role in her former husband’s third recent bid for president.

She is even willing to take Trump’s vice presidential nomination if offered, she revealed in an interview with the Standard, a British outlet. Trump was married to Maples from 1993 to 1999.

“Someone would have to ask my ex-husband about that,” she laughed in response to a question about Trump’s running mate. “I’m open. I’m open to whatever way that I can serve. Right now everyone [in the Trump family] is just seeing how we can help.”

Maples chose not to participate in Trump’s previous campaigns, though said she gave Tiffany Trump, the couple’s only child, strength in her 2016 role
