President Donald Trump, joined by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, announced Tuesday that his administration has finalized the design for the “Golden Dome,” a national missile defense system he pledged during his presidential campaign.
Breitbart News reported on the President’s press conference from the Oval Office on Tuesday, during which Trump revealed that the selected framework will incorporate advanced technologies spanning land, sea, and space.
“Today, I’m pleased to announce that we have officially selected an architecture for this state-of-the-art system that will deploy next-generation technologies across the land, sea, and space, including space-based sensors and interceptors,” Trump stated. He also mentioned that Canada has shown interest in participating in the initiative. “So we’ll be talking to them. They want to have protection also,” he said.
