Trump promises ‘very heavy force’ against anyone who protests military parade


President Donald Trump shared with reporters inside the Oval Office on Tuesday that he intends to use “heavy force” against anyone protesting his June 14 parade celebrating the Army‘s 250th anniversary.

“If there’s any protester that wants to come out, they will be met with very big force,” Trump said. “I haven’t even heard about a protest, but you know, these are people who hate our country, but they will be met with very heavy force.”

Trump’s comments came after he deployed the National Guard and 700 Marines to quell the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.
