President Donald Trump’s allies on Capitol Hill are recommending him for an honor he has long sought — a Nobel Peace Prize.
Reps. Andy Ogles (R-TN) and Marlin Stutzman (R-IN) sent a letter to the Nobel Committee to nominate Trump for the prize amid his high-profile talks to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
“We respectfully submit this nomination of President Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition of his concrete contributions to international fraternity, his leadership in reducing conflict and the risk of war, and his commitment to fostering dialogue as a path toward reconciliation,” the letter, reported by Fox News Digital, reads.
