Trump Campaign Senior Legal Adviser Jenna Ellis blasted the establishment media coverage of the campaign’s fight over the integrity of the 2020 presidential election as “fake news” and argued that every American should want election integrity to be preserved.
Ellis said the press conference, which featured Trump campaign lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, was an opening statement so that the American people could understand what the networks “have been hiding and what they refuse to cover.”
“All of your fake news headlines are dancing around the merits of the case and are trying to delegitimize what we’re doing here,” she said. She said the Trump campaign has been working to put together a case that “generally would take years in civil litigation.”
