Trump hints at new monument in DC

President Donald Trump hinted at the construction of a new monument in Washington, D.C., in a social media post early Saturday.

The new monument mirrors Paris’s Arc De Triomphe, and in the post appears to be across the Potomac River from Arlington National Cemetery.

The president was spotted peeking at the design, drawn up by Harrison Design, during a meeting in the Oval Office with Finnish President Alexander Stubb. Trump is considering construction of the arch in celebration of America’s 250th birthday next year, the Washington Post reported.
