“It looks like the House is ready to vote tonight,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
“We had GREAT conversations all day, and the Republican House Majority is UNITED, for the Good of our Country, delivering the Biggest Tax Cuts in History and MASSIVE Growth. Let’s go Republicans, and everyone else – MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.
It’s unclear whether enough House Republicans will support the bill to pass it. Several House Republicans have voiced concerns about the bill, which the Senate changed when they passed it in a tied vote broken by Vice President JD Vance. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said the changes “went a little further than many of us would’ve preferred.”
