Trump endorses past critic Sununu for possible New Hampshire Senate run

President Donald Trump has given former New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH) his blessing should he decide to run for Senate next year.

Sununu, who served four two-year terms in the Concord governor’s mansion, was one of the most recognizable critics of Trump within the Republican Party. He has since stated that Trump’s “positivity” and energy won voters over and has also contended that there is still room within the Republican Party to criticize the president.
