Trump Awarded UAE’s Top Civilian Honor for Advancing U.S.-UAE Relations


United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded President Donald Trump the Order of Zayed, the nation’s highest civilian decoration. The award was bestowed in recognition of Trump’s “exceptional efforts to strengthen the long-standing ties of friendship and strategic partnership” between the United States and the UAE.

“This partnership has taken a significant leap forward since you assumed office,” Al Nahyan told Trump prior to presenting the honor. He further emphasized that the UAE’s intention to invest $1.4 trillion in the U.S. over the next decade reflects the advancements achieved under Trump’s leadership in sectors such as the economy, energy, artificial intelligence, and industry.

“We are keen to continue deepening this friendship for the benefit of both our nations and peoples,”
