Trump assassination attempt suspect proposes round of golf with president to settle case


Ryan Wesley Routh, the man charged with attempting to assassinate Donald Trump last September, is proposing a round of golf with the president to settle his case before it proceeds to trial in Florida next week.

“I think a beatdown session would be more fun and entertaining for everyone; give me shackles and cuffs and let the old fat man give it his worst,” he wrote.

Routh then suggested a high-stakes bet in the event of a golf competition with his would-be victim.

A round of golf “with the racist pig, he wins, he can execute me, I win, I get his job,” he said, apologizing to “hillbilly” Vice President JD Vance.
