Trump announces state visit from King Charles and Queen Camilla

“Melania and I are pleased to announce that Their Majesties, the King and Queen of the United Kingdom, will visit the United States for a Historic State Visit from April 27-30th, which will include a beautiful Banquet Dinner at the White House on the evening of April 28th,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

This will be the first visit from the British monarch since Charles’s mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, visited the U.S. in 2007 while President George W. Bush was in office.

Charles is expected to deliver an address to Congress during the stateside visit, although exact details of the itinerary have not yet been announced. He will also visit Bermuda, without the queen, after visiting the U.S., Buckingham Palace announced.
