Ignoring a 10:00 p.m. curfew and throwing snow at the newly imposed vaccine passport requirements, French Canadians locked mittens in the streets of Montreal this weekend.
Several thousand attended the anti-mandate demonstration, according to Epoch Times Canada, and the protestors were not solely the unvaccinated. Many of them had taken at least the first or second dose yet decided to stand with their countrymen in opposition to the evolving edicts from Prime Minister Trudeau.
“They’re trying to turn the non-vaccinated into the scapegoats of this pandemic,” Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People’s Party of Canada, said at the rally. “The real scapegoats are the politicians ruling us.”
