During a hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday, Democratic Senator Dick Blumenthal urged Facebook to censor and remove key conservatives from their platform.
The comment was shocking to say the least considering in America we have this thing called the First Amendment. Zuckerberg stood strong and refused to submit to Blumenthal’s requests.
“Will you commit to taking down that account, Steve Bannon’s?” Bloomenthal pleaded.
“Senator, no,” Zuckerberg shot back. “That’s not what our policies would suggest we should do. In this case.”
