The State Of Comedy And A World Without Norm Macdonald


On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Josh Denny, host of “Next Week Tonight,” joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to reflect on the state of comedy and how Norm Macdonald’s passing will affect comics around the globe.

“Funny is undisputable,” Denny said. “I mean funny is the undisputed champion and if a guy is funny enough, you know, you can kind of battle anything.”

Comedians, Denny said, don’t have as long of a celebrity shelf life as musicians and actors but he believes Macdonald’s significance will live on.
