Texas Church Welcomes Drag Queens On Stage To Bless Them On “Drag Sunday”


The Cathedral of Hope Church in Dallas, Texas received major backlash after the church invited drag queens on its stage to be blessed.

According to the church’s Facebook page, the church invited the drag queens on stage after the Texas Senate passed a bill that prevents drag queens from performing in front of kids in public.

The senior pastor of the Cathedral of Hope stated that he invited the drag queens on stage to be blessed because they were being “persecuted.”

The church later posted on their Facebook page “The term ‘family values’ has for so long been code language to support misogyny, homophobia, bigotry, and many other ways of hate and exclusion.”
