Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) argued that the Supreme Court, along with the appellate process, is “the remedy” to judges ruling against the Trump administration, citing three recent rulings from the high court providing legal wins to the Trump White House.
The Texas senator was especially grateful for the decision allowing the administration to continue using the Alien Enemies Act, calling it “a big, big victory” against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg’s “egregious” order on deportations. He noted how all three of the Supreme Court’s decisions were in response to federal district judges seeking to stop Trump’s vision for the nation.
