Suspect detained in ‘shocking’ crossbow massacre of BBC commentator’s wife and daughters


A 26-year-old man believed to be responsible for killing the wife and two daughters of a BBC commentator with a crossbow in a town northwest of London is now in custody.

Authorities issued a statement before 6:30 p.m. local time that they apprehended Kyle Clifford in Enfield where he lives, a little less than 24 hours after authorities responded to a call and found the three victims inside their home in Bushey. 

The victims were the wife and daughters of John Hunt, a BBC commentator on the network’s horse racing channel.

Carol Hunt, 61, Hannah Hunt, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25, were all shot with a crossbow. Despite the efforts of paramedics, all three women died at the scene.
