Surveillance Video Of Kentucky Sheriff Allegedley Shooting Judge Released


Surveillance footage of the former county sheriff, who made national headlines after allegedly killing a Kentucky Judge, was released during a preliminary court hearing.

On Tuesday, the hearing for former Lethcer County sheriff Shawn “Mickey” Stines was held in Morgan County, Kentucky.

During the hearing, a video of Stines allegedly shooting Letcher County District Judge Kevin Mullins was played.

Lex 18 reported prosecutor Jackie Steele played the video in court that allegedly “showed Stines shooting Judge Mullins several times and say that Mullins had his hands raised in the video.”

Kentucky State Police Det. Clayton Stamper further revealed, “I was told Sheriff Stines tried to call his daughter, and tried to call his daughter from the judge’s phone also,”
