Steve Scully’s Account Deleted, Posts Purged After Excuse for Consulting with Anti-Trumper Falls Apart


Steve Scully, the moderator chosen for the second presidential debate, has apparently deleted his Twitter account following a late-night interaction with Trump opponent Anthony Scaramucci.

Thursday night, a tweet from Scully’s Twitter account tagged Scaramucci, and seemingly asked for advice about how to handle President Donald Trump.

“@Scaramucci should I respond to trump,” the post from Scully read.

Moderator Steve Scully deleted this tweet. Neither he nor the Presidential Debate Commission have addressed why he was asking a Trump loather for counsel on responding to Trump. Horrific problem here for the “independent” debate commission, in their worst year ever. https://t.co/rqChwmySQl
